this weekend was so much fun! i spent my saturday at euna mae’s teaching three full classes of amazing ladies how to quick pickle cucumbers!
i would have never imagined i would have the honor of calling this my life’s work. i love connecting with my sweet readers & spending the day sharing my passions with them. it’s such a gift that i will never take for granted!
amy of euna mae’s was such an amazing hostess! she radiates hospitality & light. she opened up her shop kitchen & prepared for us a beautiful tabletop of sweet treats. every detail was just so dreamy.
the gals then spent time in euna mae’s shopping until they dropped! y’all her english china & american made jadeite are drool-worthy. i just can’t.
euna mae’s, thank you for such a wonderful pickling party!
this moments: a friday ritual. a single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week. a simple, special, extraordinary moment. a moment i want to pause, savor & remember.
do you have a “moment” this week you would like to share? please include the link to your blog in the comments so we can see!
our long labor day weekend was a perfect balance of productive & slow. we spent most of the weekend at home, finishing our flooring & catching up on home to-do’s.
despite our frantic august spent dealing with soggy floors & moldy walls, i am so grateful for our new floors provided by insurance (farm bureau, thank you!). we still have molding to put up & transitions to finish, but we’re settling into our fresh new spaces quite nicely.
i love how freshening up one space leads to tidying up the entire home. our new floors brought on fresh inspiration for our kitchen & i am oh so happy with the final (for now, ha!) results.
i’ve been slowly decluttering our home, only keeping what sparks joy & donating or selling the rest. this has lead to a nice balance of beautiful & practical.
this weekend, after a bit of rearranging, i also spent quite a bit of time in the kitchen baking & chopping. i made blueberry muffins from this recipe & chopped up roasted vegetables for the week ahead.
how are you enjoying quiet moments at home? please share!
