dear friends, how is it friday? i feel like just yesterday, luke & i were spending our sunday evening resting + preparing ourselves for the upcoming week. now, that week has ended & the weekend is stretched out in front of us- full of adventure & possibilities. for that reason, i plan to unplug this weekend. i have a full two days of work at the store {we’re preparing for christmas! so early but that’s retail} & work at home- preparing for the artist market! also, i’d love to spend an evening cuddling with the husband. & before i check-out, i thought i’d leave you with a sneak peak of our new home. our living room is so cozy, one of my favorite places in our home. once luke + i have our new blog up & running, we will make an entry about our new home. but until then, this is all you get! 🙂
i’ve been waiting for awhile to make an entry about these photos because it is so difficult for me to put into words how special these items are to me. these items didn’t cost much relative to “normal” engagement rings & elaborate jewelry, but they show how much luke gets me- how much he appreciates & celebrates who i am. luke is the most thoughtful person i know. when he gave me the locket, the night of our rehearsal dinner, & i opened it to find two black & white photos of us (from my favorite photo of us), i was amazed at his love & attention to detail. sometimes i wonder why i was blessed with such a wonderful husband, life partner & best friend. i wish everyone could meet him; he is so full of life & his laughter illuminates a room.{luke, i love you!} & it is only appropriate that i made this entry on such a gloomy day- to bring in a bit of love & light to this dreariness. if i could choose, i’d pick up luke from work, cancel our classes, & spend the day in bed with the windows open- reading books, snacking on goat cheese, apple slices, & fresh bread, & talking of dreams. what do you wish for your day? love, natalieps. thank you to everyone who purchased a print + postcard from me! you guys are the best!
after many hours of deliberating & searching for negatives {i really need to organize my negatives in a binder!}, luke + i have chosen the photos for our booth at the {north village artist market} on october 10th! the photos above are mine that we will be selling in 5×7 size & postcards. i would really love to hear what you think… also, i know some of you are not in the missouri area so if you would like to purchase a print or a postcard, just shoot me an email at njnwc3@mail.missouri.edu & i will mail it to you. the 5×7 prints are $10 & the postcards are $2.50. finally, i plan to have a giveaway sometime in the near future in honor of my 100th entry on my blog… be lookin‘ out for that!
enjoy the rest of your week! tonight, i plan on enjoying some craft time with my favorite ladies!
