I am so excited to share the details of my 3rd annual Holiday Craft Party!
This year’s party was the best yet. Hosted at the stunning Kindred Barn with an amazing group of wonderful women, this was indeed an afternoon to remember!
Of course, no holiday party is complete without a festive hot cocoa bar!
I loved making homemade tags for each ingredient including our “melted snow” or hot water. Y’all, I am such a Christmas nerd. I love every minute of this cheery holiday!
We all know hot cocoa is not hot cocoa without mini “snowballs,” candy canes & sprinkles!
I also purchased my favorite gourmet popcorn from Hill City Popcorn for the occasion.
Let’s not forget about the reindeer treats – chocolate wrapped in pretzel for dipping into mugs of hot cocoa!
It was such a gift to host our Holiday Craft Party at such a stunning location. Kindred Barn is located in Mulberry, Arkansas & available for all types of events & special occasions! They are sweet as pie, y’all! Every detail is so special including their handcrafted tables & that huge hanging wreath!
Of course, a holiday craft party is not a craft party without festive making!
The ladies’ favorite craft project is always our beloved mason jar globe. I always have so much fun gathering supplies.
And our gals always get so creative with their cute ideas!
This year we also made homemade vanilla extract & homemade hot cocoa mix with chocolate spoons – two wonderful gift ideas to remake at home during the holidays.
It was such a treat to have my mama at this year’s workshop!
I cannot thank this inspiring group of amazing women enough for coming out & crafting with me! They were such a kind, welcoming & warm bunch. I loved the chatter & instant friend making!
I hope this year’s party inspires you to create a festive gathering of your own with your nearest & dearest girlfriends!
Last weekend we packed up Susie Q & headed off into the woods!
Our friends were getting married at a cabin nearby so it was the perfect excuse to campout with some of our dear friends for the weekend.
Sharing the trail & campfire coffee with this guy is my favorite. We were indeed in our happy place & grateful for the much needed rest.
In between wedding festivities, we hiked the nearby trails with friends & went kayaking on the lake.
The weekend was filled to the brim with campfire conversation, copious amounts of coffee, laughter, fallen leaves, roasted hot dogs & toasted marshmallows, cozy flannel, dirty hair & happy hearts.
Autumn camping, you are my favorite.
Share your happy place with me in the comments! I want to hear from you!
love,
natalie

Friends, I don’t know about you, but I am exhausted by the negative political arguments happening all over our social media outlets. It leaves me feeling drained & quite weary as I watch good people fall into the trap of Facebook fights & Twitter wars.
Today I want to share a little joy with you. Today’s blog post includes a handful of inexpensive & free gift ideas because sometimes all we can do is shine a little light & brighten someone’s day.
1. Pretty jars of preserves: Last Christmas I gifted my family jars of homemade strawberry jam. Who says we can’t extend this kind of giving year-round? Gather up bits of fabric & your favorite personable tags. Don’t forget to include a wooden spoon or knife for spreading the love! Drop your cheerful jars off at your neighbors’ doors right before they arrive home from work!
2. Coffee gift cards: There’s nothing like free coffee, y’all. Purchase a handful of $5 gift cards from Starbucks or your favorite coffee shop & share them with your coworkers, momma friends & whomever else needs a little perk up!
3. Baking Kit: I created this baking kit last autumn for a girls’ get-together at my home & I still love it to this day! Pull together your favorite baking mix & throw it in a cute mixing bowl with decorative ribbon & a seasonal tag (I love Lindsay’s tags found right here)!
4. Yummy handsoap: If nothing else will calm the chaos, at the very least we can promise yummy smelling hand soap for our people. I am a Mrs. Meyer’s junkie & their autumn scents are amazing! I’m excited to share that I am offering a fun little FREEBIE until October 16th (this Sunday!) – grab $30 worth of Mrs. Meyer’s hand soap, spray & dish soap for FREE when ya spend $20 at Grove Collaborative. Click HERE for the details & click HERE to get your free goodies!
I’ve shared this freebie in years past & lots of ladies have stocked up for teachers’ gifts, Christmas stocking stuffers & housewarming gifts. Why not stock up & share the goodness right now just because? Purchase a bouquet of grocery store blooms & add your Mrs. Meyer’s freebies in a basket for a friend in need!
