kith&kin canvas tote giveaway
i’ve been a big fan of sweet sarah, the maker behind miss money bags, for years.
y’all, i’d carry a miss money bags wallet over any fancy pants designer wallet any day. i’ve been using her cash budget wallet for forever (this is the one i am carrying right now).
they’re sturdy, practical & freakin’ adorable.
so naturally, while stalking her personal facebook page (i’d like to believe we’re practically bffs so it isn’t really stalking, right?!) late one night, i came across her newest adventure-

people, i instantly had a mini heart explosion over her new totes.
& then i immediately emailed her.
in the email, i think i referred to her bags as amazeballs (they are).
& asked if i could promote her magical new husband/wife brand (she agreed).

Oh man! I'm not usually one to go Gaga over bags and whatnot, but this one captured my fancy at first sight. As a full time mom as well as a full time city director for a year long urban service program, a lot of my time is spent juggling diapers, wipes, rattles, books, art journals, calendars, our family's shared laptop, and WATER BOTTLES galore because shoot. Texas. Anyways, I was just telling one of my sisters earlier this week that I would love love love to have something like — well, this! to help me narrow down the essentials of what I'm carrying and to also help me feel differentiated within myself of when I'm wearing which hat in my life, and to feel sassy in all roles (which, let's be honest, can sometimes be a challenge when toting around an 8 month old and his favorite stuffed elephant…). DH and I have been using the cash envelope method for 20+ years and I use…envelopes. Oh my! Her envelope pouches are awesome and I see I need to get one of those! So much cuter than literal envelopes.
I would use the bag for all kinds of things and can see taking it with me wherever I go. I always have my kindle, a "real" book, crocheting, knitting, or any kind of hand work with me at all times. We live a long distance from town (30 miles one way), so when DH is driving, my hands are staying busy. Ü
I love that it is waterproof as my bag goes with me to ball games too.

I love these and my favorite bag just broke so I would keep it for myself. My son has had two asthma attacks in the past month and a half so I have to carry things around for him incase he has an attack. Plus I have a crochet business so always have a skien of yarn and a hook with me incase an opportunity comes up to get a little work done. I love this tote! I would use this for everything! The fact that it's water proof is beyond amazing! My sons sippy cup likes to spill & snack crumbs are always at the bottom of my bags! This would make for an easy clean up! As well as a stylish bag for mommy to carry around that doesn't look like every other diaper/child bag! This is definitely on my wish list!

Wow, the furniture at kith & kin is just beautiful! I love the patchwork fronts — especially the mixed species! I can't imagine the amount of work that went into making those come together so smoothly. And, as always, Sarah's work is beautiful as well! I love her wallets and these bags are just amazing! I have three kids of VERY different ages yet all constantly need stuff, ya know? Medicine, library books, water bottles, combs, granola bars, crayons, etc. They're too old for diaper bags but we have to have a family bag that goes everywhere with us.
