this weekend we visited our college town for our annual tradition of attending the t/f documentary film festival. it was a whirlwind of fun all packed into a little less than three days. we stayed with our dear friends who always open up their doors for us so i knew a little hostess gift was in order.
i keep a small woven bag in our guest room closet full of small gifts i find here & there. i pulled out a mrs. meyers lavender candle (i buy them every time they’re on sale) from my stash & filled up a carton with eggs from our girls.
just a handful of small gifts from the heart wrapped in color. i removed the label from the egg carton & taped a bright yellow card stock on top with washi tape. i used some tags i made not too long ago & placed just so with ribbon made from strips of vintage fabric.
what are some other inexpensive gift ideas that you regularly gift to others?
Thanks for the great ideas. They're so thoughtful and cute! Will you clarify something for me? I can't see all that's written on the tag, only "all of the above." What else does it say?
Hi Natalie. I love your blog! I've been following it for quite some time. I just wanted to let you know that I posted a link to your blog (and made a little comment about your blog) on my blog today! I hope you don't mind. I wanted to share it with my followers. Here's a link to it so you can see it:http://www.lifeaswegoit.com/2014/03/i-love-blogs.html. Such a sweet, thoughtful and personal gift idea! I too have a gift stash of fun bits I find on sale; adding something handmade makes it fun too! Thanks for your inspiration! xox Susan @sugarBeans.org
Thanks for sharing your tips. If have the time, I make knitted socks. They're always a hit here in Denmark, where it's often cold. http://www.creagirl.com/

You went to Mizzou! I worked there for three years as a hall coordinator while my husband went to graduate school. How fun! We loved it there!

Very cute!! I would love to get a gift like that. May I ask where you purchased the mason jar stamp from?
