may goals

in may 2013, i will:
– drink 3 liters of water a day
– eat more dinners outside
– not worry
—–
it’s difficult to set goals for one of the busiest months of the year. i considered making one of my goals “survive,” but i am hoping for much more than that. i am doing a little lifestyle challenge with a group of friends, and we earn points for drinking water. 3 liters of water. it seems like a lot at first, but i love how i feel when i am fully hydrated (headaches? completely gone!). i also plan to eat many dinners outside on our porch. this weather is just perfect.
finally, i am choosing to not worry. this has & always will be a struggle for me, but recently i have worried a little more than usual. it is mentally exhausting & isn’t productive! i plan to put little post-it notes throughout our home in those hot spots where i tend to worry the most (at the kitchen sink, the bathroom mirror, in bed).
i am excited to see what’s in store for the month of may. it is going to be good, people.
love,
natalie

The worry thing is an issue for me as well. And it really takes it's toll on a person and anyone else involved. A friend shared this with just the other day.
"What is daily bread? It is the necessities of life-our physical and material needs that we're always worrying about. God wants you to as Him to provide those things so you don't have to worry about them. God says you can pray about everything. Nothing is too great for God's power. Nothing is too insignificant for His care. Anything worth worrying about is worth praying about. If we prayed as much as we worry, we'd have a lot less to worry about. Give God your worries. When you pray be specific and do it with thanksgiving. Grattitude is the healthiest emotion you can have, according to psychologists. The more you develop an attitude of appreciation for God, your family, and other people, the healthier you are emotionally."
Hope this helps a little. Loving your blog!
